COURSE OVERVIEW

Training By: Dr. Neel Bector
Our 2.5-Day Bio-stimulator Training Course will review basic facial anatomy and aging of the face. We will then outline the characteristics of Bellafill / Sculptra and specifically cover how Bellafill and Sculptra should be used given exactly how they work. We will review treatment indications, contraindications and precautions with these bio-stimulators given their composition and ingredients. The first day of the course will also include how to conduct an appropriate patient medical evaluation and consultation and will have a demonstration of the consultation procedure. This will be followed by a demonstration of Bellafill / Sculptra injections on two patients by Dr. Neel Bector. Dr. Bector will also cover in detail the best case uses for each of these bio-stimulators. Day 2 will be dedicated to hands on training followed by a question-and-answer session with Dr. Bector. Each attendee can expect to inject a minimum of two patients with these different bio-stimulators. The third half-day will discuss how to incorporate Bellafill and Sculptra into your practice and how to combine them with other cosmetic procedures for optimal patient results and revenue.
1. Review of facial anatomy and landmarks relating to Bellafill and Sculptra procedures, including bone structures, depth and location of facial muscle, facial nerves, major blood vessels, and tissue layers.
2. A review of what happens to our face as we age in terms of skin, fat pads, bones and muscle atrophy. How does all of this affect our consult, technique and the patients desired outcomes.
3. Assessment of the client and indications for treatment using effective consultations that include medical and drug history. Understanding the importance of managing your client’s expectations from the onset and providing clear communications for expected treatment outcomes. We will also cover the client life cycle and re-booking sessions to maximize results.
4. Contraindications to treatment and potential risks of treatment with both of these bio-stimulators.
5. Combining treatments for optimal outcomes by assessing the mid face, lower face and neck separately and together to enhance facial symmetry and a youthful appearance.
6. Uses for both Bellafill and Sculptra and where to use each of these bio-stimulators for great results.
7. Live demonstrations and practical hands-on experience with client consults, performing the procedure on a minimum of 2 patients.
8. Setting up your practice – physical space, business aspects, online presence and overall marketing strategy.

TRAINING BREAKDOWN
DAY 1
INTRO TO BELLAFILL AND SCULPTRA
Our first day will include a brief introduction to Bellafill / Sculptra and will outline the different treatment modalities available for its use. We will discuss the difference between HA dermal fillers and Bellafill / Sculptra (bio-stimulators). Next, we will go into depth about how Bellafill and Sculptra work and what are the different uses for Bellafill / Sculptra. We will review how to take a medical history for Bellafill / Sculptra and the indications, contraindications and precautions for treatment using Bellafill / Sculptra. We will also discuss patient after care and follow up. You will learn to perform a client consult and how to assess a clients face to formulate a plan of action. The balance of the day will be devoted to live demonstrations of consults for Bellafill and live demonstrations of the injection technique of the Bellafill bio-stimulator.
DAY 2
HANDS ON TRAINING
Our second day will be devoted to hands on training. Each attendee will have an opportunity to inject Bellafill / Sculptra on a minimum of 2 patients under the supervision of Dr. Bector or one of his expertly trained staff.
DAY 3
MORE HANDS-ON TRAINING + Q&A WITH COURSE DEBRIEF
On day three, we will continue with our hands on training. After completions of the hands-on portion of the course there will be a brief Q&A session with Dr. Bector to answer any questions that may come up during the practical portion of the course. Finally, we will discuss how to optimize results with combining different aesthetic treatments with Bellafill / Sculptra and how to incorporate these procedures into your practice.
