COURSE OVERVIEW
Price: $7490.00 + HST Training By: Dr. Neel Bector
Our 4 Day Advanced Injectables course will briefly review facial anatomy and aging of the face. Right away we will jump into the uses of various neurotoxins to treat smoker’s lines, reduce Masseter size, treat gummy smiles, treat marionette lines, treat Platismal bands, preform a ‘Nefertiti lift’, and therapeutic uses for Botox® including migraine treatment and hyperhidrosis. We will then cover the use of HA fillers to treat the temples, mid-face, cheeks, nasolabial folds, jawline, peri-oral, and chin. We will spend time highlighting how to use advanced techniques with both neurotoxin and filler to achieve a non-surgical facelift. We will also focus heavily on cannula techniques and best practices for use. We will end our session together by discussing the client management part of your practice – highlighting the patient consultation process, treatment planning with your patients, charting, post care instructions and finally how to specifically manage patient concerns and questions including the management of expectations.
ADVANCED INJECTABLES TRAINING
1. Learn how the use of Advanced Injectable techniques can take your Cosmetic Medicine practice to a different level.
2. Advanced uses for neurotoxins starting with Masseter reduction, complications and best techniques to optimal outcomes.
3. The use of neurotoxin in the mid and lower face – best use guidelines for peri-oral muscles
4. Therapeutic users of Botox for migraines and hyperhidrosis including techniques, uses and patient lifecycle.
5. Advanced HA Filler uses, patient consultation and cannula / non cannula techniques will be covered for the periorbital areas, tear trough, lower face, marionette area, jawline, nasolabial area, neck and chin.
6. We will cover what happens to our face as we age in terms of skin aging, fat pads, bones and muscle atrophy. How does all of this effect our injecting technique and our desired outcomes.
7. Strong focus will be placed on a full-face consultation approach – although we will touch upon upper, mid and lower face injectables we really want all our trainees to become comfortable with understanding how to address the entire face for the most natural outcomes.
8. Live demonstrations and practical hands-on experience with client consults, injections and treatment techniques.
9. Introducing new services through internal and external marketing

TRAINING BREAKDOWN
DAY 1
OVERVIEW, INTRO, CONSULT & NEUROTOXINS
On the first day we will briefly review the anatomy of the face and changes that come with aging. We will then discuss on how to approach our patient consult, including patient history, eliciting patient goals, setting expectations, and conducting a thorough evaluation of the patients face. This will be followed by theoretical and practical teaching of advanced neurotoxin techniques. Including: Migraine Headache, Masseter Injection, Lip flip, Gummy Smile, Downturned mouth, Nefertiti Lift, and Platismal bands.
DAY 2
FOCUS ON DERMAL FILLERS
Our second day will be devoted to advanced injections with dermal fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Teosal, Stylage, Boletero). We will look at the different indications for fillers – re-volumization, volume enhancement, contouring, lifting and hydration. In addition, we will cover the contraindications for filler injection as well as potential side effects. We will review injection of the temple area, mid cheek, zygoma, chin, and peri-oral areas. All of these injections’ techniques will be shown via demonstration followed by hands on learning by the attendees.
DAY 3
FORMULATING A TREATMENT PLAN WITH Q & A SESSIONS
Day 3 will consist of each attendee performing multiple consults, formulating treatment plans, and performing the treatment on various patients. Each case will be followed by a 20-minute discussion and Q & A session that answers specific concerns that arose during the procedure.
DAY 4
MORE HANDS-ON TRAINING WITH COURSE DEBRIEF
On Day4 we will tie together all of our learning by doing live consults to understand how all the different modalities can work together to create the best client outcomes. We then review the business side of a Cosmetic Medicine practice. This will include structuring your practice/business, how to plan for a successful start-up cosmetic practice, marketing – for new clients and retention of existing clients, creating an online presence, securing your online reputation, and supplies, suppliers and group purchasing opportunities.
