In this course, he will teach you the best practices/techniques with the Instalift threads and share how he gets beautiful, natural results. It just makes sense to get trained and incorporate this fast-growing area of thread lifts into your Cosmetic Medicine practice.
Our 3-Day course will have you start using thread lifts in your practice, with confidence, immediately upon completion of training.
Our Silhouette Instalift Course will review basic facial anatomy and aging of the face. We will then outline the characteristics of PLLA vs PDO threads and specifically cover Silhouette Instalift threads and how they work. We will review treatment indications, contraindications and precautions with Silhouette Instalift. The first day of the course will also include how to conduct an appropriate patient evaluation and consultation and will have a demonstration of the consultation procedure. This will be followed by a demonstration of the thread insertion on two patients by Dr. Bector. Days 2 and 3 will be dedicated to hands-on training and a question-and-answer session with Dr. Bector. The final portion of Day 3 will discuss how to incorporate Thread Lifting into your practice and how to combine threads with other cosmetic procedures.

COURSE OVERVIEW

1. Review of facial anatomy and landmarks relating to thread lifting procedures, including bone structures, depth and location of facial muscle, facial nerves, major blood vessels, and tissue layers.
2. Review what happens to our face as we age in terms of skin, fat pads, bones and muscle atrophy. How does this affect our consult, technique and the patient’s desired outcomes?
3. Assessment of the client and indications for treatment using effective consultations that include medical and drug history. We will explain the importance of managing your client’s expectations and communicating clearly for expected treatment outcomes.
4. Indications and contraindications to treatment and potential risks of treatment.
5. Combining treatments for optimal outcomes by assessing the mid and lower face separately and together to enhance facial symmetry and youth.
6. Live demonstrations and practical hands-on experience with client consults, performing the procedure on a minimum of 2 patients.
7. Setting up your practice – physical space, business aspects, online presence.

TRAINING BREAKDOWN
DAY 1
INTRO TO THREAD LIFTING
Our first day will briefly introduce Thread Lifts and outline the different treatment modalities available in this space. We will discuss PDO vs PLLA threads, how Silhouette Instalift works and what are other Silhouette threads available. We will review the anatomy of the face as it relates to thread lifts and aging. We will review how to take a medical history for Silhouette Instalift and the indications, contraindications and precautions for treatment using Silhouette Instalift. We will also discuss patient aftercare and follow-up. You will learn to perform a client consultation and assess a client’s face to formulate a plan of action. The balance of the day will be devoted to live demonstrations of consults for Silhouette Instalift and live demonstrations of the insertion technique of the Silhouette Instalift threads.
DAY 2
HANDS ON TRAINING
Our second day will be devoted to hands-on training. Each attendee will have an opportunity to insert threads on a minimum of 2 patients under the supervision of Dr. Bector or one of his expertly trained staff.
DAY 3
PRACTICAL HANDS ON TRAINING, Q&A & PRATICE MANAGEMENT
On day three, we will continue with our hands-on training. After completing the hands-on portion of the course, there will be a brief Q&A session with Dr. Bector to answer any questions that may come up during the practical part of the course. Finally, we will discuss optimizing results by combining different aesthetic treatments with the thread lifting procedure and how to incorporate this new procedure into your practice.
